Requiem

Again and again, it all just comes back
the things you let go, the thoughts you dump for good
the moment you show the signs of weakness
these creatures of the past start to add up to the already piled up burdens, one after one
you put these creatures to death
yet they come back to haunt
its not far until you will put them back to their graves
but still, you will have to carry the overweight, even if it is for a brief time
eventually you learn and you make peace with them
but still you have to carry, remember?
Well, they won't be completely dead anytime soon
