Essentia

I have seen and known
what life is for most of us
and I have no complains
and no objections
although I wish to see a different approach
as to how people base their actions upon
all I see is this chase
chase behind something, anything
which is meaningful just because of trends
or because of the glitter
a meaning deduced from the foreseen benefit
which is material and selfish
again, no objection
as this is how life is made to function
life is given density and the drive
to keep going and to shine on the planet
however, I know a paradigm now
which is free from such foreseen benefits
a paradigm with emphasis on now
and focus on the other
where the self and its associated dimensions; vanish
and ecstasy is made to follow, to enter
after pain and sorrow
which is chosen out of free will
this is where I see meaning in existence
but again, the other paradigms which are common and populated
have meaning in their own way
but this is different, this is more close to the being
and I see beauty in it
wrapped in sweet sadness and melancholy
